We provide Female Breast Reduction in Lucknow. Surgery can correct disproportionate large, sagging breasts through removal of excess fat and tissue to create a smaller, better positioned breast. Reduction in size of enlarged areola may also be performed.
Female breast reduction surgery, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is often sought by women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts. This surgery may be performed to change the overall size of the breasts, to provide better posture or it may be done to alleviate medical conditions that affect the size of a woman’s breasts, such as gynecomastia. Many women who seek this type of cosmetic surgery have larger, natural breasts and feel that their breasts are too small. Breast reduction surgery, also called reduction mammoplasty, can help them achieve the look they want and eliminate any remaining concerns about their breasts.
Plastic surgeons typically perform this type of operation on an outpatient basis. An incision is made in a natural crease just beneath the breast where the crease meets the armpit. The incision is closed with a small amount of sutures. An additional incision may be made around the base of the nipples if weight loss is desired. It takes between one and three weeks for this surgery to heal and return to normal functioning.
During the procedure, a thin tube called a cannula is introduced through the incisions into the armpits. It is then hooked and inserted under the area to reduce the volume of the areola. After making an incision, the surgeon pulls the areola downward and tightens it. Sutures are removed around the edges of the area to close the incisions.
After the surgery, you will experience some discomfort, swelling, bruising and a general sense of discomfort. These are normal effects following surgery and will subside within three to six weeks. Within three weeks, your stitches will be removed and you will be able to resume your daily activities. A compression garment will be recommended to help you cope with the pain and swelling.
After Female breast reduction surgery, your surgeon will advise you on post-op care. This usually involves taking pain medication, receiving a compression garment and using an ice pack on your incision sites to reduce swelling and edema. You will also be advised on exercise and diet recommendations. After three weeks, you will be advised to start a light exercise routine to encourage healing and return your body to a normal state.
During the Female Breast Reduction surgery, your surgeon will make three incisions in your armpit. The first will be vertical and across the top of your areola. The second will be horizontal across the base of your area and across the areola itself. The third will be made inside your armpit, directly under the nipple.
Mini-ligamentous arthroscopy is the name given to the Female Breast Reduction procedure. This is a much smaller operation and requires only one incision, making it easier on the body. During this procedure, your surgeon will cut a vertical incision from just below your armpit, where your breast glandular tissue is, all the way down to your navel muscle. In order to get an accurate diagnosis, your doctor will use visual or radiographic imaging techniques to determine what kind of skin fold and/or fibrous tissue structures you have, and how those structures are located in relation to your breast.
Female breast reduction surgery may be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia. General anesthesia allows you to be comfortable while your surgical wounds heal and the anesthesia takes effect. Local anesthesia is used for smaller wounds and makes it easier to heal the wounds after surgery. If you have any questions or concerns about your surgical treatment, you should discuss them with your surgeon before your surgery.
To minimize the risk of complications, general anesthesia is normally given during the first few minutes or so of the procedure. However, if there is a lot of swelling at the time of surgery or if the nipples and areolas develop a lot of pain, then general anesthesia may not be enough. Female breast reduction surgeon will discuss which type of anesthesia he prefers for your particular case and will administer it accordingly. Once the anesthesia has taken effect, you will be able to leave the hospital within the same day.
Recovery from female breast reduction surgery usually takes two to six weeks. This includes recovery time for your nipples and areolas, as well as time spent resting and eating. You can resume normal activities within two weeks after your surgery, although stretching and physical therapy are probably advised for at least a week or two before you begin your exercises. You will be able to return to work in a week or two, but don’t start lifting any weights for at least four weeks.
After the Female breast reduction surgery, most patients are instructed to keep their bras and other garments underneath out of the reach of the surgeon for at least three weeks. During this time, the stitches will be withdrawn and the incision closed using anesthetics. The scars from the operation will be hidden and covered up with special clothing until they heal. This whole process should take only about a week, although you may encounter minor setbacks such as a bit of swelling or bleeding at first. After these setbacks subside, you will find that your breasts look much more youthful and attractive!
